Christmas Competition

The Countdown to Christmas has begun and at Monks Estate and Lettings Agents the girls are already up to some monkey business…

Making a start on their festive preparations, Judy Bourne and her team at Monks and Monks New Homes in Shoplatch, are hoping that they might be able to find a few little elves of their own to help them to design their 2018 Christmas Card.

Inviting children up to 12 years of age to create a Christmassy design that features the mischievous ‘Monks Monkee’.  The best one will be selected and then produced into a Christmas Card which Monks will use to spread some Christmas cheer to their clients and colleagues across the County. The lucky winner will receive a £25 Entertainer voucher as well as the chance to see their design transformed into the official Monks Christmas Card for 2018.

Creativity is the key for this festive competition, so entrants are encouraged to let their imaginations go wild. Whether you use paint, crayons, pens or pencils, all designs must include that cheeky Monkee. Perhaps Monkee is getting ready for Santa to visit? Maybe he is wrapping up some bananas for Christmas presents?  Or is he decorating his tree house? However, you decide to draw Monkee, be sure to send your design on a piece of A4 paper or card.

If you would like to enter the competition, please send your pictures, with your name, age and contact telephone number on the back, to Monks Estate and Lettings, 12 Shoplatch, Shrewsbury SY1 1HL. The competition closes on Friday 30th November 2018 at 5pm. A winner will be picked and notified on Saturday 1st December.
